Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are optional, depending on store locations.

Our Enmore computer repairs shop is a shopfront that opens to the public 7 days a week. An appointment is recommended to secure your time slot but it is optional.

Simply bring your computer to our computer repairs shop to get on-the-spot diagnostics then we’ll give you a Free quote before any repairs are done. It is an obligation-free quote. It’s up to you to decide if you want to fix your computer with us.

If you agree with the quote, we’ll book it and give you formal paperwork.

If you choose not to proceed with the quote, you can simply take the computer back, pay nothing and have a think about it.

By visiting our computer repairs shop, the repair process is also faster because we have spare parts available most of the time to do repairs on the spot.

If you can’t visit our computer repair shop, we can arrange for a computer technician to fix the issue at your home or office.

How long does it take to get a quote?

When you bring your computer to our store, a quote is done while you wait (FREE quote). It usually takes less than 15 minutes. You can also send us an online enquiry. We usually reply on the same day.

How much does it cost to repair my computer?

Costs to repair your computer vary depending on the computer’s make, model and the problem. Our computer technicians give a Free quote prior to repairs.

Generally, software problems such as viruses may cost $100-$200. Hardware problems such as broken screens will incur costs for labour and spare parts which varies $200-$400+. Some high-end parts may cost $500+. The more expensive your computer is, the more expensive it costs to repair.

The prices are generic indicators and should be used as a guide only. This information does not constitute a fixed quote.

We follow a long price list that is tailored to each specific problem and computer model. We do not use hourly rates. You can find out more on our pricing and info page.

How long does it take to repair my computer?

For most, it’s the same day or the next business day. Upon your approval of our quote, we will proceed with the quote straight away.

We carry stock for common spare parts. If a part is out of stock, it will need to be ordered. Delivery time is 2-5 business days (standard postage) or 1-2 business days (express postage).

Our technician will you you an estimated completion date after checking your computer and spare part availability.

Can you recover my data?

If there is important data on your computer that needs to be recovered, let us know. We’ll do our best to recover the data.

There are times your data will be at risk when your computer breaks down. For example, hard drive failure, or motherboard failure will put your data at risk. Keeping regular backups of your data is highly recommended.

My computer is old (vintage model), can you fix it?

Yes, absolutely. We’ve fixed Windows 98, Windows XP, 2002 – 2008 computers and we can fix yours too. Having said that, when a computer is too old, spare parts for it will become scarce in the market and takes more time to order. As long as spare parts for your computer are available within your budget, we can repair it.

What guarantees do I get after repairs?

Our repairs come with a 1-year (365 days) guarantee on the same problem. Many spare parts come with a 1-year manufacturer warranty as well. For example, new RAM, hard drive, screen, battery.

What if my computer cannot be fixed?

There is no charge for unsuccessful repair attempts, provided that you have followed the solution as recommended by our computer technicians.

We also partner with an e-Waste recycling company. You can have your computer sent to e-Waste recycling for free of charge.
